Just One More Story

Every day, you pass people carrying stories you'll never hear. The cashier. The man shoveling his driveway. The woman ahead of you in line at the pharmacy.

Ben Amato hears them.

Not because he asks. Honestly, he'd rather be left alone. But people seem to find him anyway, on the treadmill beside his, on a hockey bench, at the top of a mountain trail, and before he knows it, they're telling him something they've never told anyone.
